I just started The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales Very interesting, it's amazing to see how these small, simple (and morbid!!!) tales eventually evolved into the huge fables that they are now. ^^ I love fairy tales....there's much more to them than first meets the eye. I love that......and I've always wanted to read the Grimm brothers! I can't wait to get my hands on a copy It's quite fun. I've requested Hans Christian Anderson's works from the library so hopefully I'll be able to read that soon too. hee I know! I'm reading that RIGHT AFTER I finish the short stories. Then I shall watch.....Le Film. Is the FFD book any help? I need help with French. I took it for 6 years but it is just slipping away now that I'm not in a French class 5 days a week. I quite like it so far, the sense of humour and fun is very motivating and there's a disc that comes with it, haven't tried it yet but it could be helpful. And I know what you mean about French slipping away if you don't keep it up, I've been studying only a few weeks and I instantly forget EVERYTHING if I'm not diligent. It's somewhat exhausting, but I hope to reach a point where I'm totally fluent and watching French movies, reading French books, going to French websites often enough to keep it up.

(which is very fulfilling for me because I've always wanted to read a "for Dummies" book) Haha I find that cool.

Bought the Grimm Bros book today! Will start soon. Oh I grew up on Anderson! Mermaid was my favorite story as a kid...the ending kills me every time. I have a Russian book of his stories. Read the Little Mermaid last year even and still cried....he writes sooo beautifully, you feel everything so powerfully. Hope you enjoy it!

Factory Made: Warhol and the Sixties I just finished that one. I liked it. It wasn't as funny as Popism, but it expanded on the story and had a lot of information.

I've just started reading Pride & Prejudice. Although I know what happens, it's so good. *gushes*
