I realized that Brigitte needs a thread like this too! She has so heavily influenced fashion ever since she hit the scene that it may be hard to locate ALL of what she has inspired This thread is for just about anything that appears to be inspired by her - including fashion editorials, celebrities' red-carpet/off-duty looks, fashion/makeup or other such products, etc. etc.

"Biba's early years were rather humble with many of the outfits being cheap and available to the public by mail order. Biba’s postal boutique had its first significant success in May 1964 when it offered a pink gingham dress to readers of the Daily Mirror. The dress had celebrity appeal as a similar dress had been worn by Brigitte Bardot. By the morning after the dress was advertised in the Daily Mirror, it had received over 4,000 orders. Ultimately, some 17,000 outfits were sold." Just read that at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biba

^ So cute! Thanks for the rest of those Chanel ads, I hadn't seen them! I know what you mean, the ad campaign doesn't perfectly capture BB's essence, but I really like it nonetheless. A classy tribute to Brigitte's enduring legacy as a beauty and fashion icon ^^
